This summer in Sydney has been tough on art goers. So much rain and misery has made it damn hard for people to get into the streets in search of new artists (we have been no exception). But on this dreary Wednesday evening we decided that the time had come. With umbrellas in hand and a somewhat promising forecast we headed along to the opening of Trace Makers at Paper Plane Gallery in Rozelle.
The exhibition was a collection of photographic works from Kate Beckingham, Rhonda Pryor, Nick Greenwich and Ling Yuen. Each artist presented a small body of work showing their different takes on their use of photography as medium.
The gallery was packed with eager fans. Unfortunately, as with our last visit, the gallery had not had an opportunity to number the show. Our apologies that we cannot match titles with the works (please feel free to let us know and we’ll update the post).
