Ma. Gallery, not yet a year old, opened it’s doors on Wednesday for it’s first group show of 2010. Don’t be fooled by the closed green door, you didn’t get the address wrong, sneak in and scale the stairs.
With 9 artists exhibiting Ma. felt a little sparse, however the quality of the work was impressive indeed. Exhibitors included the likes of Anthony Bartok and Justin Cooper (who’s work we have hanging here) as part of an impressive collection of local talent.
It’s exciting to see that the gallery is attracting this caliber of work so early in it’s life. I really look forward to future shows at the venue. Definitely one to watch and one to support.
Until next time…
