Kelly Rose Hammond & Holly Brown @ China Heights

A couple of Fridays ago In the Blink of an Eye opened at China Heights. The exhibition was a collaboration between Kelly Hammond and Holly Brown, both exploring a single moment.

Hammond is a commercial photographer, and there were strong influences from her fashion background throughout her series of works. Using industry contacts for models, make-up and styling, the collection could have comfortable sat across glossy pages.

Brown’s partner works were mixed media reflections of Hammond’s photographs, rendered in black and white. They were textural, and somehow just as immediate as the original photos.
